Connor grew up in Coventry, CT his whole life. In high school and college he was a competitive runner in Cross Country and Track and Field and is currently a senior business management student at UConn.

After he stopped running freshman year, he was searching for new things to get involved in on-campus and came across Choose A Challenge. One of his passions is outdoor sports and going on adventures, so he was hooked immediately. He had not heard of Choose A Challenge before, but when he learned he could go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip while fundraising for an awesome charity, he had to give it a try. He knew about Make-A-Wish from all the sports-related wishes they had granted, and thought they were an awesome organization.

Ultimately, Connor organized the inaugural Make-A-Wish CT 5k Road Race to fundraise for the challenge, and that event alone raised more than $7,000!  He is the fundraising for a Macchu Picchu and Everest Base Camp trips and thought this was the perfect opportunity to be able to adventure while continuing with the Choose-A-Challenge and Make-A-Wish initiatives.
