In honor of Make-A-Wish Central New York’s inaugural Wish Heroes campaign, wish alum, Alayah and her family spearheaded “Alayah’s Rideathon,” a carousel fundraiser to support wishes for local, critically ill children. This year, Alayah celebrates her 6th Rideathon Celebration!  During the Rideathong, all proceeds from Destiny USA’s carousel rides from will be donated to Make-A-Wish Central New York. Rides are $2 per person and can be enjoyed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days.

Wish kid Alayah is a leukemia survivor who received her wish to be a princess at Walt Disney World Resort in 2017. While on her wish, Alayah became enamored with the carousel at Give Kids the World Village (a resort especially for wish families). As a way to pay it forward so other critically kids can experience their wish, the family thought a carousel Rideathon would be a great way to celebrate Alayah, her wish and Make-A-Wish Central New York!
