Your Passion Can Transform Lives  

Inspiring kids, just like you, can have an impact in right in our community. These initiatives gives kids an opportunity to engage classmates, schools, youth organizations and their networks in philanthropy and service activities in partnership with Make-A-Wish. These programs encourage community service, leadership, volunteerism and teamwork all from a young age. It builds team spirit and gives students hands-on experience fundraising to help create life-changing wishes for kids fighting critical illnesses. 

There are many ways to get involved and you can learn about them below!

Create Your own Student/Kids Fundraiser

Kids are in charge! Take the lead to brainstorm fundraising ideas, create action plans and manage everything from start to finish. Students can even combine their efforts for existing school events, such as spirit week or field day.

Wishmakers on Campus

Wishmakers on Campus empowers the collegiate community in California or Nevada to help fund life-changing wishes for local children fighting critical illnesses.  

By planning fundraisers, hosting events and raising donations for Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada, you can be a beacon of light for children in your community during their darkest days.  

The program invites you and your on-campus organization to help grant life-changing wishes and bring hope and joy to local children when they need it most. 

There are plenty of ways you can get involved and fundraise, but to kickstart the creative juices, here are some ideas that can help you raise vital funds on campus: 

  • Host a Dance
  • Bachelor/ette Auction
  • Coordinate a Tournament
  • Sell Midterm or Finals "Survivor Kits"
  • And so much more!

Social Media Fundraising

For teens with social media there are opportunities to engage your followers using your social media accounts! Available on Facebook or Instagram you can engage your followers and ask them to donate to Make-A-Wish online! Whether you start a birthday fundraiser or just ask your followers to join you in supporting local wish kids, social fundraising could be a great option for you!
