How to Apply

The Make-A-Wish Arizona internship program is designed for young professionals with a goal of being a leader in the nonprofit sector. All our internships offer valuable work experience and the possibility of college credit. No monetary compensation. All interns must be 18 years of age or older.

Interns are required to:

Model Professional Behavior: As representatives of Make-A-Wish Arizona, all staff and interns are expected to have professional communication skills, including phone and email etiquette.

Honor our Dress Code: Make-A-Wish Arizona serves the needs of the public, and it is not unusual for the Wish House to be visited by donors or potential donors, wish families, volunteers, vendors, and board members. As representatives of Make-A-Wish Arizona, interns are expected to present a clean, well-pressed, appropriate and professional appearance.

Understand the Volunteer Role: Make-A-Wish Arizona is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illness. While Make-A-Wish Arizona internships offer a wide range of real-world experiences to help you grow professionally, all positions available require voluntary time and effort and are unpaid internships.

Interested applicants should submit the following materials to volunteer@arizona.wish.org:

  • Cover letter
  • Resume
