Give From The Heart

A Fairytale Proposal Inspired by a Wish Nearly 20 Years Later
This February is Heart Month and we're sharing the inspiring stories of wish alumni, volunteers and supporters who give from the heart.

Meet Joseph, who nearly 20 years after his wish, returned to Disney to propose to his girlfriend, Brooke. With Disney deeply woven into his Make-A-Wish experience, Joseph knew it was the perfect place to pop the question.

"Make-A-Wish helped me with my entire Disney experience and helped provide just a bright spot in my life, in a time that a lot would see as dark more than anything," he shared. "Getting to spend that time just being with my family, that long trip together, was probably the most impactful trip I’ll ever take."

Each act of kindness, whether through your time, talents or support, helps us get one step closer to our goal to grant life-changing and lasting wishes for Arizona kids facing critical illnesses.
