Asher's wish to walk

Asher makes incredible strides with his wish to walk

Asher, 5, was diagnosed with a nervous system disorder at birth and cannot walk independently.

His journey has not been easy, but with the help of a robotic machine, Asher is now able to walk and is already making incredible strides.

"The benefits are amazing, but it's an expensive piece of equipment to purchase,” explains his mom, Allison. "Thanks to Make-A-Wish Arizona, his future is much brighter, and I can't thank the organization enough."

Not only does Asher's machine help him build strength, but it also reduces the risk of complications that come with his diagnosis.

Asher's wish is essential for him to walk on his own.

"We work with Asher daily to exercise his legs so he can be stronger and more independent when he's older."

"Using the machine will reduce the chance of hip dysplasia and extra surgeries that come with Asher's critical illness," Allison adds.

Asher's family knows the importance of investing in his health and well-being, and his robotic machine has been invaluable in achieving that.

With their gratitude overflowing, Asher's family hopes to give back and help other children receive the same hope they experienced.

"We are so thankful for everyone involved with Asher's wish and want to give back," Allison says.
