Make-A-Wish® Arizona Wish Ball 2024 Scheduled for March 9th at Chase Field

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (February 1, 2024) – Make-A-Wish® Arizona is pleased to announce the 2024 Make-A-Wish Arizona Wish Ball, presented by Phusion Projects, will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Chase Field.

The funds raised from this event will help towards granting the more than 630 wishes Make-A-Wish Arizona is currently planning with Arizona wish kids and families.

This annual event celebrates the mission of Make-A-Wish Arizona by raising funds to grant the wishes of Arizona children with critical illnesses. It provides an opportunity for more than 1,000 individuals to personally meet wish kids and hear stories of hope and joy from Arizona children whose wishes have been granted.

The Make-A-Wish Arizona Wish Ball typically raises over $3 million, which goes towards future wishes. The event includes a live auction, silent auction, and Fund-A-Wish opportunity. With the average cost of a wish being approximately $10,000, all funds raised can make a significant impact in bringing hope to wish kids and their families during challenging times.

This year's Wish Ball theme, "Field of Wishes, An Evening of Black, White, and Sparkle," was influenced by co-chairs Dena Zell and Kristine Hedlund's vision of transforming the fundraiser beyond the ballroom and into the ballpark. Both Dena and Kristine have been long-time supporters of Make-A-Wish Arizona, with Dena serving on the Wish Ball Committee for the past seven years, and Kristine serving on the nonprofit's Board of Directors.

Make-A-Wish Arizona has set a goal to grant 450 wishes this fiscal year, following the record-breaking achievement of granting 424 wishes during the 2023 Fiscal Year, the highest number in the chapter's 44-year history.

Tickets, tables and sponsorships are available for purchase at arizona.wish.org/wishball.
