On August 6, Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia is partnering with ABC 8News for Wishes in Flight, a telethon to raise much-needed airline miles to send local Virginia wish kids and their families on travel-related wishes!
Previous telethons have helped local Virginia children and their families travel to their wish destinations. Nearly 75% of all wishes involve travel and currently, we have almost 100 wish kids waiting to travel throughout the continental United States.
