Cristian's Wish

When 5-year-old Cristian was diagnosed with cancer, his life and that of his family members drastically changed.

When Christian started chemotherapy treatments, his mom was forced to quit her job. Cristian would ask mom not to be sad and tell her that everything would be alright. His positive outlook provided mom with courage, strength and hope to keep going. When volunteer wish granters visited with Cristian, he became super excited about his wish and immediately said that he wanted to go to Disneyland! At Disneyland, Cristian had a special meet and greet with Spiderman and even learned the proper technique for spinning webs! Now that his wish has been granted, he tells his mom, “I am fine; there is nothing wrong with me. If my wish came true, then I am good.” His positive outlook provides his family with courage and strength. He is their hero!
