Illness and hospital stays are both stressful and Brilleth is no stranger to either one. One of the hardest things about being hospitalized as a kid is not being able to hang out with friends, play outside, or even eat their favorite foods.  

During a recent hospital stay, Brilleth was asked what her wish would be. Sitting in her hospital room, all she wanted to do was to be home playing with her siblings. That is when Brilleth knew that she’d love to have a shopping spree and personally pick out all the things she’d been dreaming of having! 

This summer, Brilleth’s wish came true. An array of items were sent to her house to make her time at home more fun - including an Apple watch, new clothes, sneakers and backpacks. For her room, there was a school desk, a bunk bed for her to share with her sister and a make-up vanity with perfume. Among her favorites were brand new bicycles for her and her two siblings!
