A Carefree Wish Trip for Faith

Faith is a rambunctious seven-year-old whose bright personality belies her struggles with a blood disorder. Diagnosed at birth, Faith’s medical journey hasn’t been easy and will continue to create obstacles that she will have to face with her unwavering optimism. But living up to her name, Faith fills the room with hope, laughter, and a contagiously positive attitude wherever she goes. She loves to curl up in her mom’s lap to read a book before bed, chow down at her favorite restaurant with her brother, and sneak gummy bears every chance she gets. Faith absolutely loves her family who are fiercely supportive and protective of her.

Faith had her wish all picked out when she first met with Make-A-Wish volunteers. Nothing would be more exciting than experiencing all the fun activities that Walt Disney World® Resort had to offer!

Her wish reveal was nothing short of extraordinary, with News 3 Las Vegas anchors, Kim and Dana Wagner, calling her up to the stage at the 2019 Walk For Wishes. After eagerly telling them her wish, they announced to Faith and the thousands of event participants that her wish was coming true!

Faith was speechless with excitement – her joy obvious by the radiant smile on her face. Soon, Faith and her family were staying in a giant hotel, cooling off on the water rides, meeting famous characters, and viewing exotic animals at Animal Kingdom. Each day, Faith exuded excitement and delight with every ride, show, and park they experienced. According to Faith’s mom, “This trip gave us a moment to see Faith enjoy life carefree!”

Faith’s medical journey is far from over, but this special trip to Disney World provides magical memories that she can draw from for a lifetime.
