Evan Upgrades His Ride

Evan, an 18-year-old who battles end-stage kidney disease, recently received a 2014 Kia Rio from his parents.

He hoped to one day fix it up because he “loves to drive and this would greatly improve the experience.” His wish was the perfect opportunity to have a car makeover!

From the moment that Evan dropped off his car at Superior Auto Design, he kept asking when it would be done. His mother said, “He came to the shop with a small list of what he’d like done, and the shop said, ‘That’s it. That’s all you want?’” and they delivered much more than he asked for. When it was time to pick up his car, Evan was elated to see the complete transformation of his car into his dream car!

“It was definitely worth the wait. It’s just crazy. I knew my car was in good hands, but they went out of their way! I can’t thank you enough.”

Not only is his car now sporting new tires and rims, a powerful sound system and a shiny coat of paint, it also has tinted windows, sleek trim, a personalized license plate and no more dings. The makeover exceeded his expectations! A high school senior, Evan is most looking forward to driving to school, showing off his custom-designed ride and cruising around with his friends.

His mother said, “This is something that my son has been dreaming about. After everything that he’s gone through, I’m happy to see him so happy. Nothing is better than that for a mom. And to take his mind off some of the struggles of the past few years is incredible. Our whole family is grateful.”
