Joy can radically change the narrative in a child’s battle against a critical illness. At Wish Night on May 14, 2022, at 5:30pm, the South Carolina community can partner with Make-A-Wish South Carolina to spark joy that will rejuvenate and help wish kids cope with the stress of fighting a critical illness. 

Wish families are our neighbors, our friends, our colleagues, our students – they are local children and families in South Carolina facing the unimaginable. For 37 years Make-A-Wish South Carolina, together with donors and volunteers, has created life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. But we are not finished yet. With more than 490 children currently waiting on a wish – many delayed due to COVID-19 – granting wishes is more urgent than ever before.  

Make-A-Wish® South Carolina is proud to partner with presenting sponsor, Matt O’Neill Real Estate, to present the inaugural Wish Night.  Wish Night will offer the opportunity to collectively spark joy and unite an entire community in heartfelt moments that provide everlasting hope.  We know that the moment tangible joy is on the horizon, everything changes. Replacing sadness with joy is something we all have the power to do – for children with critical illnesses, and ourselves because a child’s joy is a light of hope for all of us.

The spectacular spring evening event will provide guests with a front-row seat to inspiring stories and transformational surprise moments. In addition, they’ll enjoy silent and live auctions, a delicious gourmet dinner and live musical entertainment.  Most importantly, guests will have the opportunity to make a direct gift and significant impact on wish granting in South Carolina.
