The Volunteer Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administrative management of the volunteer program, as well as recruitment and stewardship of our volunteers throughout the state of South Carolina
- Lead in the development and execution of robust training, onboarding, skills development and post training survey program.
- Assign volunteer teams to wishes and provide needed resources for a seamless wish granting experience.
- Compile and publish weekly and quarterly wish needs and status update communications.
- Maintain volunteer database and file requirements in compliance with Make-A-Wish America standards including conflict of interest statements and background checks.
- Ensure that all volunteer inquiries are addressed in a timely fashion.
- Develop and implement plans for year-round volunteer recognition, including touchpoints via mail, email and in-person regional meetings and an annual volunteer retreat.
- Provide leadership with quantitative data on pipeline status categories, regional and volunteer engagement
