Fairway Subaru becomes Trailblaze Challenge Presenting Sponsor

Hope can radically change the narrative in a child’s battle against a critical illness. Subaru Loves to Care® and understands the power of hope. So, this year Fairway Subaru has partnered with Make-A-Wish® South Carolina to be the presenting sponsor for Trailblaze Challenge®.

Trailblaze Challenge is a popular and beloved outdoor journey that invites hikers of all levels to support Make-A-Wish South Carolina families, enjoy and explore the outdoors on 20+ mile endurance hikes, and build South Carolina pride and community through an all-inclusive hike experience.

As well as being an extraordinary physical test through an endurance hike, the real challenge is to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children in South Carolina with critical illnesses. A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together and unites communities. Trailblaze Challenge is designed as a symbolic journey to a wish child’s own journey and participants receive an unparalleled view into the world of wish granting.

Fairway Subaru and Make-A-Wish South Carolina invite individuals to sign up now for the spring 2024 hike season. This season, individuals will journey with us for wishes on The Palmetto Trail. The Palmetto Trail traverses the entire Palmetto State - just like our wishes do - from the mountains to the sea. Hikers have the freedom to choose one of three beautiful but challenging hikes that showcase the incredible diversity of our state. Information meetings are free and designed to describe in detail the weekend-long event. Four meetings in the Upstate will be held at the Make-A-Wish office in Greenville.
