Bennett's Wish

January 29 is the day Officer Bennett Saves the Day!
Wishes build strength and hope – they bring out the inner hero in children battling critical illnesses. On Saturday, January 29 we’ll celebrate a local hero and you’re invited to join us.
5-year-old Bennett battles a congenital heart disorder. He’s had to undergo surgeries and doctor visits no small boy should have to endure. Despite the challenges he’s been presented, his fighting spirit is strong. He wishes to be a police officer and catch thieves.
On January 29, his wish will come true! Let’s come together to cheer him on at 12pm at Sunset Park in Mauldin, S.C. as Bennett becomes an official police officer and stops the bad guy (you don’t want to miss it!) Bennett’s wish is an important part of his journey for wellness. Wishes give kids the mental stamina to face their illness and fight harder. Â
