Complete coordination of wishes and all corresponding logistics within the pre-determined budget for each wish, wish children, and families.

Coordinates the granting of wishes

Works with families, volunteers, vendors, and donors throughout the wish process

Works with volunteers on the solicitation of in-kind goods and services to enhance the wish-granting process
-
Creates wish budgets within department guidelines. Plans and creates itineraries and assembles and sends wish packets; including, but not limited to, independently booking travel arrangements and all other types of national, regional or local “wish” packages within said budget

Ensures all budget and expense forms, in-kind donations, and cash expenditures are tracked properly

Maintains administrative records of wishes in database and files including proper paperwork for each wish

As needed, seeks the advice of physicians, social workers, and other medical professionals to address medical needs of wish children or wish participants

Protects wish file confidentiality through chapter approved systems and personnel training

Functions as primary contact for the wish children and families assigned

Assists with incoming wish assists for Oklahoma

Consistently implements national and chapter wish-granting policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent program quality and to protect wish families and the Foundation

Helps to identify and solve program issues and increase quality of wish experience for families and volunteers

Develops and maintains positive relationships with referral sources

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Program Services

Bilingual English/Spanish language skills required

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Ability to navigate a wide range of digital platforms

Demonstrates ability to be detail–orientated and has strong organizational skills

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience
