Kallie is a smart, determined, and curious girl who loves science, reading, math, and solving puzzles. Wherever there is an opportunity to learn, Kallie is the first to observe and ask questions. Whether she's outside, at a doctor's appointment, or hanging out with her friends and family, she is always seeking to learn more.

Kallie was born with several heart defects that have impacted many aspects of her life. She was formally diagnosed with a coarctation of aorta and later found that she had a bulge on her ventricle, causing her to endure even more doctor visits, physical limitations, and fear of the unknown. Kallie's drive to learn and understand the medical world around her has made her become well aware of the risks and limitations of her heart problems, but even with this knowledge, Kallie remained nothing short of strong, courageous, and resilient.

While Kallie could've picked any number of wishes involving her many different interests, there was nothing that spoke to her as much as having her own space to practice science experiments, read her collection of books, watch the stars through a telescope, and play with her friends. Luckily, with the help and support of family, friends, and Make-A-Wish volunteers, this wish was able to not only be executed beautifully, but it brought everyone together and formed lasting friendships and community.

While the building of the clubhouse was a lengthy process, the end result was worth every minute for Kallie and those who brought this wish to life.

On the day the clubhouse had been finished, and she was finally able to claim it as ‘Kallie's Clubhouse for Science and Relaxing’, she didn’t leave it all day. Her mom says, "It's been almost two weeks, and she is still in awe."

Kallie’s wish is a testament to the power of community and creativity.

From Kallie’s imagination to the support and hard work of those who helped build this clubhouse, a wish was granted and a lasting memories were formed.
