The Trailblaze Challenge is more than a hike. 

It’s a life-changing endurance experience and fundraiser that challenges participants physically and emotionally, ultimately helping to grant wishes in Southern Nevada.

In February 2022, Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada hosted its inaugural Trailblaze Challenge, presented by Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas. It was a life-changing experience for everyone involved - especially our 54 participating hikers. In its first year, Trailblaze raised over $200,000 to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses right here in Southern Nevada.

It’s not a race, it’s a journey, as hikers at all levels attend an info session, participate in weekly training hikes, and fundraise for wishes during the fall and winter months. The Trailblaze Challenge is a culmination of this journey, an inspiring hike weekend that brings people together in support of our wish kids.
