As a mom of a child who faces a critical illness, I know what it's like to wait for hope. Before the age of one, Madeline was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and a heart condition. We spent months in hospitals and moved across the country to get better care for her. Those were some of the scariest and toughest moments as a mom.

Madeline’s wish has helped replace some of our sadness with much needed joy. As we counted down the days until Madeline met her favorite Disney characters, we found a renewed sense of hope. Being able to spend a week together making happy memories felt like a light at the end of a tunnel. I’ve never seen Madeline smile so much!

It’s been truly touching to know that supporters like you created this moment for my daughter.

It’s one of the many reasons I was inspired to join you on Giving Tuesday to help grant wishes. I wanted to help other families experience this same gift, and I’m so glad we all have the chance to wish it forward.
