Planned Giving
Grant transformational wishes now and into the future
Planned gifts made through a bequest, retirement plan, life insurance policy or other means ensure your support of wish kids well into the future. They can also help you balance financial goals and philanthropy, while possible achieving significant tax benefits.
Bequest Language
With one simple sentence, you can make a gift through your will or living trust. Our preferred bequest language is below, which can be shared with your attorney when drafting a bequest intention.
"I give the sum of $_ (or_%) to Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley, 5 Valley Square, Suite 210, Blue Bell, PA 19422, Tax ID 22-2755963, to be used or disposed of as its Board of Directors deems appropriate in its sole discretion."
Change your mind at any time
We realize that circumstances change, and your bequest may no longer be possible at some future date. Your family comes first, and that's why a bequest works for so many of our supporters: you can change your mind at any time.
Beneficiary Designations
Not everyone wants to commit to making a gift in their wills of estates. Some prefer the increased flexibility of naming Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley as a beneficiary within:
- IRAs and retirement plans
- Life insurance policies
- Donor advised funds
- Commercial annuities
