When four-year-old Mikey enters a room, people take notice. The energetic little boy is a ball of energy and spreads joy to those who have the pleasure of meeting him. In 2020, Mikey was diagnosed with leukemia and had to undergo many treatments including blood panels, chemotherapy and quarterly lumbar puncture procedures. Fortunately, he had his supportive mom and dad along with big brother James to keep his spirits up during pretty scary times.

When he learned that he was eligible to receive a heartfelt wish, Mikey immediately told his wish coordinator, "I want to go live in a California beach house!" He sees himself swimming in the ocean, hunting for sea shells, building sandcastles with his brother, watching the sunsets, and being relaxed on the beach with his family.

After undergoing treatment, Mikey's blood panel recently came back clear and he looks forward to ringing the bell in March! 

The countdown to Mikey's wish is on ... he looks forward to his wish coming true soon! In the meantime, he will be busy learning about sharks (and how to stay away from them).
