A squeal of excitement escaped seven-year-old Savannah’s lips as the door to her limo swung open. Her luxury ride to Show Creators Studios in Las Vegas was just the beginning of an incredible day. Savannah’s wish to be a YouTuber was about to come true.
Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as an infant, Savannah has an intense treatment plan that her mom executes at home. In addition to administering her medicine through a nebulizer, a chest vest is used to help manage her condition. Frequent treatments mean that Savannah spends a lot of time at home hanging out with family, playing video games, and making TikTok videos. Crafty and energetic, Savannah knew that she had content to share with the world and wished to have a YouTube channel with her sister. She just wasn’t sure where to start.
Savannah’s entire family was welcomed into Show Creators Studios on her wish day. The studio not only presented Savannah with an abundance of video gear to get her channel up and running, but they also spent several hours showing her how to use her new equipment. Local YouTuber, Magic Murray, showed up to give Savannah some advice and celebrity cred.
Throughout the entire process, Savannah was in her element. Her bright smile lit up the stage, especially when her supportive sister, Evelyn, was by her side. The day served as the impetus for the sisters to start their official channel, Savannah & Evelyn. They’ve already created fun videos on how to create Nickelodeon slime and offered their review of CHEETOS® Mac 'n Cheese. Savannah’s goals for the channel were to gain a following and make people laugh. So far, it seems like she’s on a trajectory to do just that.
Murray the Magician agreed. “These two ladies are going to rock it.”
