Youth Leadership Council
Make-A-Wish® Oklahoma now offers a Youth Leadership Council (YLC), a leadership and development opportunity available to youth in Oklahoma. Our goal with the Youth Leadership Council is to encourage youth to give back to children with critical illnesses right in their community while making new friends and having fun.
The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is a student led program designed to promote philanthropy and fundraising in schools and youth organizations. The YLC puts students in the driver's seat, giving them control to create programs and events within their schools to help make wishes come true. YLC members work closely with Make-A-Wish Oklahoma staff members, board directors, and school faculty as they build leadership skills, grow professionally, and commit to helping wish kids receive their wishes.
