Hope is essential and at Wishes in Bloom, airing May 23, 2021 at 6pm on Facebook, the South Carolina community can partner with Make-A-Wish South Carolina to plant seeds of hope so wishes bloom. 

Make-A-Wish® South Carolina, together with donors and volunteers, creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. After an unprecedented and challenging year, hope is more essential than ever for the more than 450 children waiting for a wish in the state. Make-A-Wish® South Carolina is proud to partner with presenting sponsor, Crews Subaru of Charleston, to present the fifth annual Wishes in Bloom.

Wishes are more than a nice thing. For kids battling critical illnesses, a wish transforms anxiety into hope and fear into strength. Anticipation of a wish-come-true can be a powerful motivator for wish kids to face and overcome the challenges in their way. During 2020 and the pandemic, kids have been more isolated and vulnerable than ever before. They need the stars in our community to ignite hope through life-changing wish experiences.

Wishes in Bloom is a one-of-a-kind virtual event bringing the Lowcountry to guests anywhere.  From the comfort of their home, viewers can spend an evening with Make-A-Wish South Carolina, Lowcountry style, celebrating wishes granted and the many wishes we'll grant in the future. By partnering with renowned chefs, Chef Steven Manall from Belmond Charleston Place and Chef Marc Collins from Circa 1886, Wishes in Bloom offers a unique opportunity for a virtual Lowcountry culinary experience!  Supporters can enhance their viewing experience by purchasing a VIP Culinary Experience or a Watch Party Experience. Guests purchasing a VIP Culinary Experience for Two will receive a specialty curated box of ingredients and exclusive access to private cooking lessons to follow alongside with the chefs step-by-step as they create a fine dining experience from the comfort of their own homes. If cooking isn’t their style, a Watch Party Experience for Six is available filled with party ready snacks, wine, dessert and more. Tickets can be purchased at wishesinbloomsc.org.

During the free dynamic virtual program, guests will experience inspiration and heartwarming surprises. Wishes in Bloom delivers a powerful front-row seat to the life-changing effects of wishes. For guests, the charitable evening offers the unique chance to behold the powerful impact of wishes and the opportunity to create transformational moments for future S.C. wish families – right from the comfort of their home.
