In 2003, with the help of United Healthcare, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida climbed to its 4,000th wish in chapter history as 3-year-old Tyler from Bradenton raced to the top of the 8-foot climbing wall on his brand new swing set.
After months of planning the perfect backyard kingdom, Tyler, who battles lung disease, and his family celebrated the completion of his wish surrounded by family and friends. The party kicked off with a ride around the block in a fire truck, followed by a picnic-themed lunch provided by Publix and dessert from Cold Stone Creamery.
"It brought a happy day and a big smile to his heart - which made our wish come true." said his parents, Bobby and Dusty.
