Wish and Wish Assist Coordinator
Full-time | Exempt | Hybrid (Greenville, South Carolina)
Salary Range: $40,000–$50,000
About the Role
The Wish and Wish Assist Coordinator supports the delivery of life-changing wishes for children facing critical illness. This role coordinates both local wishes and wish assists with other chapters across the country, ensuring each wish is planned, executed, and documented accurately and with compassion.
What You’ll Do

Plan and coordinate a caseload of local wishes and out-of-state wish assists

Serve as a primary point of contact for wish families, health care professionals, volunteers, and partners

Manage wish timelines, logistics, and documentation in accordance with Make-A-Wish standards

Develop and manage wish budgets, approvals, and reconciliations

Secure and steward in-kind donations to reduce cash expenses

Record donated goods and services accurately in chapter systems

Complete wish assist billing and monthly reconciliation

Maintain organized, confidential records to support reporting, compliance, and audits

Collaborate across teams to support wish delivery and partner engagement

Identify risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through

Compassionate, family-centered approach

Sound judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities

Relationship-building skills with vendors and partners

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred
Education & Experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• Two or more years of related experience
Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid environment with work conducted from a home office, local office, and offsite wish-related locations. Occasional evenings, weekends, and travel may be required to meet wish and partner needs.
