3rd Annual Rising Stars
Rising Stars is an exciting, high-impact leadership challenge for high school juniors and seniors who are ready to make a difference by helping grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish. From January 26 through March 19, one standout student from each participating school is nominated to lead an eight-week fundraising campaign—rallying peers, organizing creative events, and inspiring action across their community. Participants gain valuable leadership, marketing, and project management experience while strengthening their college applications and making a real impact for local wish families. Students also have the opportunity to earn prestigious recognition, including a $7,500 scholarship for the top fundraiser, letters of recommendation for the top three student leaders and their team members, and a $2,500 Community Champion Scholarship awarded to the student who exemplifies outstanding dedication to the Make-A-Wish mission..
