ST. LOUIS, MO (SEPTEMBER 5, 2025) – Make-A-Wish® Missouri & Kansas is pleased to announce the appointment of Miles Mooney, Partner at PwC, as the new Chair of its Governing Board of Directors, effective September 1, 2025. Mooney succeeds Jeff Eden, who has completed his term of service as Board Chair after providing over 9 years of dedicated leadership and advocacy for children with critical illnesses across Missouri and Kansas.

His leadership, passion for our mission, and expertise will be instrumental as we continue working toward granting the wish of every eligible child in Missouri and Kansas.”
Mooney, a long-time supporter of Make-A-Wish and graduate of Rockhurst University, brings more than 33 years of auditing and business advisory experience through his career at PwC, where he has held various leadership roles and led the client service teams for numerous public and private multi-national companies. He has spent the majority of his career in the St. Louis and Kansas City offices of PwC. As Board Chair, he will leverage his depth of leadership experience and commitment to community service to guide the Governing Board in advancing strategic goals, strengthening community impact, and ensuring that more children facing critical illnesses receive the transformative gift of a wish.
