Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
It's easy to make a gift to Make-A-Wish through a donor advised fund (DAF). If you have an account with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, BNY Mellon, access the DAF Direct link to make a gift conveniently from your account. Fill in the institution, the designation (how the funds are to be used) and the gift amount.

A Donor Advised Fund, or DAF, is a charitable giving vehicle that allows you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from your fund over time. You can contribute to the fund as frequently as you like, and then recommend grants to your charities, like Make-A-Wish East Tennessee, whenever it is convenient for you.
Monthly Donations Through a DAF: You can schedule monthly gifts to Make-A-Wish East Tennessee through your Donor Advised Fund. Your monthly gift replenishes the "wishing well," granting wishes every month to a different wish child. You can also make monthly gifts via credit card. Click here to learn more.
Designate Make-A-Wish East Tennessee as Your DAF Beneficiary: Just as you can include a charity as a beneficiary of your IRA or insurance policy, you can name Make-A-Wish East Tennessee as the successor beneficiary of your Donor Advised Fund.
