When the time came to give twelve-year-old Wish Kid Adian’s sensory room a makeover, we made sure we rounded up the pros. Many worked on this project and the results speak for themselves as Adian positively loves the updated space. Freshly painted in cool, calming blues, the room features a TV, an easel with art supplies, a plush rug, and an LED bubble tower.
Adian’s Grandma Stacey expressed her thanks: “Words can't express what my family and I feel every time we see Adian in his new room enjoying himself. Make-A-Wish and staff and volunteers who came into Adian's world and made it so much better for him to enjoy, we are grateful. We know Adian loves his room because he spends more time on his own there. Make-A-Wish made not only Adian happy but also my daughter, Arielle is very happy that Adian has a new room that he can enjoy, and we see that he is comfortable. We feel proud that Adian was chosen as a recipient to receive a wish that Adian and my family will treasure forever. Wishes do come true! Adian is proof.”
We would like to thank the following for helping make Adian’s wish come true: Ethan Allen, BBL Construction, Nancy Narcavage (Painter), Curtis Lumber, Raymour & Flanigan, eSpecial Needs, Bountiful Bread, and all our donors and supporters.
