Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley is excited to announce the relocation of its offices to 3 Bala Plaza West, Suite 700, Bala Cynwyd, PA, 19004, with the move scheduled for fall 2025. This milestone reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to expanding its mission of granting life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses.

The Wishing Place will offer incredible opportunities to better serve wish families and supporters. The new office will feature expanded services, reach, and a more personalized, welcoming environment. It will provide a dedicated space where families can connect with the team, explore wish possibilities, and embark on transformative journeys. The Wishing Place will also act as a vibrant hub for community engagement, bringing together supporters to witness the profound impact of their contributions and inspiring everyone to believe in the life-changing power of a wish.

The Vince & Lynne Laino Wishing Place is named in honor of Vince and Lynne Laino, whose long-standing commitment and generous support have been instrumental in making countless wishes come true for children in the region. Their dedication to Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley has touched the lives of many children and families. Vince and Lynne have long been inspired by the mission of Make-A-Wish and its powerful impact, and it is an honor for them to help create a space where wish families, staff, and the community can unite to make wishes a reality. Their belief in the power of a wish continues to inspire hope and bring joy to families for years to come.

Community Champions Supporting The Vince & Lynne Laino Wishing Place

The Vince & Lynne Laino Wishing Place has been thoughtfully designed to provide a welcoming environment where the magic of wishes comes to life. As wish kids explore their wish journey, they will experience spaces that spark creativity, inspire hope, and foster wonder. From the Wishing Tree to the LEGO Room, each area has been crafted to enhance the experience and make every visit memorable. These spaces will play an essential role in transforming dreams into reality, helping children feel supported, uplifted, and excited about their wish.

  • The Wishing Tree: Supported by The Ambrogi Family in memory of Jerry Ambrogi, this special space will be where wishes begin to take shape. It will provide a place for families to collaborate with volunteers and embark on their journey toward a personalized wish experience.

  • The Wishing Fountain: Supported by Scott Gray, this serene feature in the lobby symbolizes hope and transformation, setting the tone for life-changing experiences at The Wishing Place.

  • Wishful Bites Café: Generously supported by Martin and Terri Micklin, this cozy café will offer a relaxing space for children to enjoy snacks, ice cream, and simple pleasures during their visit.

  • Wishing Family Parking Spot: Located at the front of the building and supported by AutoLenders, this designated spot ensures ease and accessibility for wish families from the moment they arrive.

  • LEGO Room: Donated by Tina & Brian Phillips in honor of their child Brandon, this inspiring space will encourage creativity and imagination. It will feature a LEGO wall and building areas for wish kids and their siblings.

  • Think Tanks: Nine themed rooms, sponsored by Tom Coyne & Steve Duffy, Christopher & Jessica Kelly, The Pruitt Family, Dr. Mark-Alan Pizzini & Dr. Deborah Sesok-Pizzini and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, will reflect popular wish destinations, including Walt Disney World, Hawaii, and Philadelphia Sports.

  • The Wish Express: Supported by Independence Blue Cross, this service will cover transportation costs to and from The Wishing Place, ensuring families can easily embark on their life-changing wish journey.
