Wish for a trip to Walt Disney World® Resort
Wish Kid Aaron is a true adventure fan. If he’s not watching his favorite Star Wars movie, he’s probably checking out the latest installment from Marvel Comics. So, when Aaron wished for a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, we knew exactly how to make this a wish he’d remember forever.
Aaron’s adventure began the moment he and his family were picked up at their home in Saranac Lake, New York. They boarded a flight to The Sunshine State, and in mere hours, were transported to a magical place where dreams and wishes come true. The choices at Disney can be daunting for the uninitiated. There’s the famed Magic Kingdom with its awe-inspiring Epcot Center, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the ever-popular Universal Studios Orlando, and the always exciting and splash-worthy SeaWorld.
But Aaron knew exactly where he was headed when he arrived. Perhaps it was the Force? We think so, because it was straight to Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Under the guidance of “The Gatherers,” Aaron, along with Claira and Lucas, set about the task of building their very own lightsabers. Once they were constructed to the specifications of the Jedi Order and Kembe the instructor, their lightsabers were officially powered up for the first time with Kyber Krystals.
At Disney World, anything seems possible—like going from building lightsabers to hanging out with superheroes! On one evening, Aaron and his family enjoyed dinner at Café 4 on Islands of Adventure. After their feast, Aaron met up with his favorite Marvel characters, including Captain America, Spider Man, Wolverine, Strom, and Rogue!
Aaron and his family were positively wowed by their Walt Disney World experience. They ran into Buzz Lightyear and snapped a quick pic, Aaron saw Mickey’s hand and footprints, took his turn at the Sword in the Stone, and drifted off each night dreaming of the day’s adventures. It was an epic trip he and his family will surely be talking about for years to come.
We’d like to extend a special thanks to Premiere Transportation, Give Kids the World Village, and all our donors and supporters for helping make Aaron’s wish come true.
