My'Laila's Mansion Sleepover Wish
Meet My’Laila
Everyone who knows My’Laila agrees—this energetic 13-year-old is the life of the party! But a diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) brought My’Laila’s exuberant spirit to a screeching halt.
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a type of cancer affecting the white blood cells. In children with ALL, the white blood cells do not mature correctly, and they become cancerous. Because the white blood cells are responsible for fighting off disease, ALL often causes recurrent infections, fatigue, and other uncomfortable symptoms.
At one point 90% of [My’Laila’s] blood was cancer.

Thankfully, an indomitable spirit helped My’Laila fight off her cancer and today, her prospects look good. According to the family, it was an ideal time to have a wish granted!
“I Wish To Have A Mansion Sleepover!”
In February of 2023, My’Laila—along with her family and friends—checked into a spacious vacation rental for the weekend. But this wasn’t just any vacation home.
Equipped with a chef’s kitchen, a pool area, and a game room, this mansion was the perfect spot to make My’Laila’s wish come true.
The weekend started off strong with a limo ride to Andretti’s, where My’Laila and her friends enjoyed food, games, and some exhilarating indoor go-kart racing!
The next day, everyone was able to spend some time relaxing in the swimming pool (complete with hot tub!) and the indoor game room. The girls played some pool and Skee Ball for most of the day, but later that afternoon, we arranged for a special surprise!
Nora Gilman from Divine Cosmetic Enhancements stopped by for an at-home spa day! Gilman pampered My’Laila and her friends with some relaxing facials and indulgent spa treatments.
The final day dawned with the arrival of Chef Henry Moso. My’Laila had the unique privilege of cooking alongside this celebrated chef to prepare a special menu just for her guests.
Hope For The Future
It seems hard to believe that a single weekend can do so much, but for My’Laila and her family, the experience was unforgettable.
We needed a positive experience after all the trauma. Make-a-Wish made us feel so supported and blessed.

Pampering this brave teen was truly an honor and we wish all the best to My’Laila and her family!
