Aaron's Wish for a Row Boat
Sixteen-year-old Aaron was diagnosed with leukemia in the spring of 2020. He faced nine months of intense treatment, but kept his eyes on the future.
Aaron loves rowing. When he chose his wish, he decided that his own rowboat perfectly suited for his size and skill would be the perfect gift. He even chose a name for the boat to honor his battle: ROW MISSION.
At his wish reveal, family, friends and teammates joined him to celebrate. His wish granters coordinated a fitting christening of the boat which Aaron pouring sparkling cider over it!
“Going through treatment, it’s easy to get down and think about what you are missing out on. But when you are going through the Make-A-Wish process, it allows you to think about positive things…it’s a great diversion,” shares wish kid Aaron.
