Being outside at the playground is one of the best parts about being a kid. So, when six-year-old Wish Kid Isaiah of Cambridge, NY, who loves being outside, wished for his very own playset, our team brought the fun right to his backyard.
Standing over ten feet tall, Isaiah’s new cedar wood playset includes a climbing wall, monkey bars, two open slides, an enclosed tube slide, and several covered play areas. The area surrounding the playset is covered in soft rubber mulch to keep things safe and features a cool, interlocking faux-stone border to keep it all neatly in place. We’re certain that Isaiah and his buddies will be having fun out there season after season.
We’d like to thank the following for helping make Isaiah’s wish come true: Beth Torres, CEO of Make-A-Wish Tennessee, who helped make it all happen by connecting us with the right people and vendors; B&B Excavation and Land Management for their discounted landscaping services; Good Ideas, who donated playset border pieces; Buddy Nolan Tree Service, who donated tree removal to make space for the playset; Tractor Supply Co., who donated rubber mulch, some of the border pieces, and landscaping fabric, and Backyard Products, for their discounted Gorilla PlaySets structure and installation; and of course, our many donors and supporters.
