SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York (Feb. 21, 2023) — Make-A-Wish Northeast New York will hold its Hope Begins With Us Gala at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 25.
Wish alumni Anthony DiScipio, Jenna Meier, Jackson Lewis-Rodriguez and Esmé Savoie will serve as Gala ambassadors. Esmé’s wish, to become the subject of a museum exhibit, earned Make-A-Wish Northeast New York the Wish Innovation Award, the highest award for wishes bestowed by Make-A-Wish® America.
The Hope Begins With Us Gala will be co-hosted by Chad O’Hara of B.95.5 FM and Alyssa Caroprese of WRGB CBS 6. The Gala will feature its traditional staples, including inspiring wish stories, both live and silent auctions, fine cuisine and drink, and music and dancing courtesy of Funk Evolution.
“We are thrilled to be assembling together again as a Make-A-Wish family to celebrate the power of a wish,” said William C. Trigg, III, CEO of Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. “While the Gala raises funds for creating life-changing wishes, it is also an important platform for we as a chapter to say, ‘Thank you.’ And we have many to thank.”
This Gala will be the final for Trigg as CEO, as he is stepping down after 17 years at the helm of the chapter. A successor is expected to be named shortly.
