Jonah's Wish to go to Disney World

This began a three-and-a-half-year treatment journey.  Jonah is now in the maintenance phase and doing well, thank God! 

To say our trip was amazing is an understatement.  The experience began the moment Jonah learned he qualified for a wish and met his amazing wish-granting volunteers.  They were attentive to our needs and handled every little detail.  They made sure everything was super special for Jonah.   

While on our week-long trip, we stayed at an amazing place called Give Kids the World; a resort with amenities specifically aimed at kids. It was everything a child could want, and all within the resort…including unlimited ice cream. Aside from the time spent at Give Kids the World, we went to Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld, squeezing in as much fun as we could.  Out of everything that we did, Jonah’s favorite thing was riding the Slinky Dog Dash at Hollywood Studios! He rode it at least five times!   

The trip itself will be a treasured memory for our Jonah and our family.  Overall, Make-A-Wish gave Jonah and our family so much more than just a vacation.  Our family got to go and be normal for a week.  No doctors, no clinic visits, just a week full of fun and spending time together! – Wish Mom, Liza
