The Wish Society offers you a unique opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of children battling critical illnesses. Partner with Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas to grant life-changing wishes and bring hope and joy to families in our community. 

The Wish Society brings together the community’s most dynamic and inspiring individuals and empowers them to act on that belief in a fulfilling and measurable way. We are currently recruiting for individuals in Kansas City and St. Louis to join our next cohort, launching April 1st. Nominees are recognized for their professional success, civic achievements, and commitment to philanthropy.

• Lead the Way as a fundraising champion within their network, inspiring others to support our mission.  

• Grant Wishes such as:   
  • Magical trips to Disney World  
  • Once-in-a-lifetime encounters with favorite celebrities  
  • Dream room renovations 

• Build Connections with other passionate community leaders and Make-A-Wish staff.  

• Expand Their Impact by sharing the power of a wish with their professional and personal circles. 

We seek individuals who embody the Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas mission of granting life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Nominees will be evaluated on: 

• Professional Impact & Leadership: Significant career achievements, leadership, and contributions to their field.
• Community Engagement: Meaningful civic contributions, volunteerism, and positive impact on community life.
• Philanthropic Commitment: Strategic support of charitable causes, active engagement, and demonstrated impact.
• Wish Society Alignment: Embodiment of our values, potential to advance our mission, and understanding of the impact of wishes on children.
