Children with critical illnesses in your community are in the need of volunteer wish granters. Each year, nearly 600 children are newly diagnosed with a critical illness and qualify for a wish from our local chapter. We rely on our volunteers to assist us in creating life-changing wishes that make lasting memories as children and their families navigate their journey.

Please click the "Start Your Journey" button below to fill out a short contact form and a member of our volunteer team will reach out to you shortly. Thank you for your interest in transforming lives, one wish at a time!

What is a wish granter?

Wish granters assist with the wish process by meeting with the family, helping the child determine their one-true wish and acting as an extension of Make-A-Wish. This volunteer role is best suited for anyone 18 and over with warm energy, a compassionate heart and the ability to give some of their time. Volunteers must be positive, outgoing, comfortable in a variety of social situations and passionate about children and our mission.
