New Governing Boar Chair Announced
Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas Appoints Jeff Eden as Governing Board Chair
St. Louis, MO (October 9, 2023) Jeff Eden, former Global Growth Officer for Dentsu, has been appointed as Chair of the Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas Governing Board of Directors. Eden will succeed Lisa Brubaker, who recently fulfilled her two-year term, helping grant more than 780 wishes during her time as chair.
Eden joined Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas as a board member in 2016 and has served the chapter in a volunteer leadership capacity for more than 10 years. He has more than 30 years of experience in technology and consulting/agency ventures with a focus on commercialization, sales, marketing and alliances along with mergers and acquisitions.
“For more than a decade, Jeff has served our chapter as an advocate, ambassador and champion for children throughout Missouri & Kansas,” said Caroline Schmidt, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas. “He has a clear passion for our mission, and his dedication to creating hope for children with critical illnesses will most certainly be apparent in his continued leadership as Chair of the Governing Board of Directors.”
During his involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Eden has secured over $400,000 for the local chapter, helping to fund 40 wishes for children battling critical illnesses. He has also been instrumental in cultivating partnerships throughout Missouri and Kansas with key donors, corporations and businesses.
Eden formerly served as a Partner and Chief Growth Officer for Digital Evolution Group (“DEG”), a full-service digital marketing and transformation agency, which was sold in 2018 to Dentsu Group. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the Global Growth Officer overseeing the Salesforce Alliance for Dentsu. He is currently an active investor and advisor to a myriad of organizations and start-up companies. He and his wife and three children reside in Overland Park, KS. He is a graduate of Hartwick College with a degree in Business and Marketing.
