Our annual Share the Power of a Wish Telethon aims to raise critical funds for Maine wishes on WGME CBS13 and WPFO FOX23. Make-A-Wish stories are featured throughout February culminating in a full day of programming.

The Wishing Under the Stars Gala is held in the Bangor/Brewer area. Celebrating the Make-A-Wish mission and the inspiring children and families we serve, guests mix and mingle while enjoying music, live and silent auctions, tempting treats, festive beverages, entertainment, dancing and more!

Form a foursome to help grant wishes! The Make-A-Wish Maine Young Leaders Council hosts a summer golf tournament aimed at engaging young professionals looking to make a difference in their community.

The Trailblaze Challenge is a 23.4-mile hike where participants can tackle the terrain of the Maine Hut Trail - all in one amazing day! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts.

As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much-needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Maine with critical illnesses. Now more than ever, hope is essential. Make-A-Wish is committed to ensuring that no eligible child waits to experience the hope and joy that a wish brings.

To begin this life-changing journey, you'll need to attend an information meeting. These meetings are designed to inform you about the mission of Make-A-Wish and describe in-detail the weekend-long hike event.

The 2025 Trailblaze Challenge will take place September 19th-21st. 

Our signature event in Southern Maine, this evening is attended by 300+ central and southern Maine supporters. Mix and mingle while enjoying live music, auction, entertainment, and dancing. 

Evening of Wishes is a semi-annual celebration of the power of a wish come true! Attendees gather at the Samoset Resort in Rockport to enjoy a gourmet dinner, inspiring program, and dance the night away.
