Learn more about our signature events held throughout the year in Maine. 

Evening of Wishes is a semi-annual celebration of the power of a wish come true! Attendees gather at the Samoset Resort in Rockport to enjoy a gourmet dinner, inspiring program, and dance the night away. The 2024 event takes place on June 28, 2024 - click here for more details!

The Trailblaze Challenge is a 23.4-mile hike where participants can tackle the terrain of the Maine Hut Trail - all in one amazing day! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts.

As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise much-needed funds to grant the wishes of children in Maine with critical illnesses. Now more than ever, hope is essential. Make-A-Wish is committed to ensuring that no eligible child waits to experience the hope and joy that a wish brings.

To begin this life-changing journey, you'll need to attend an information meeting. These meetings are designed to inform you about the mission of Make-A-Wish and describe in-detail the weekend-long hike event.

Our signature event in Southern Maine, this evening is attended by 300+ central and southern Maine supporters. Mix and mingle while enjoying live music, auction, entertainment, and dancing. Stay tuned for more information about the 2024 event!
