Monica's Wish to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Nine-year-old Monica’s wish to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter came true early in 2024. The year before had been a difficult one, though she makes it a point to always stay positive.

While battling a brain tumor, Monica learned how to knit in order to be able to make hats for the other kids at Maine Children’s Cancer Program.

Monica’s wish granters held a Harry Potter themed surprise party with Monica’s class to help deliver the news that her wish was coming true!

In Florida, Monica got to visit Ollivanders in Diagon Alley to find her very own wand and enjoy rides throughout the theme parks!

“Literally everything about the trip was beyond any of our expectations, and Monica had a smile on her face nearly the entire time.,” recounts wish dad Chris. “She was very reluctant to leave, which is a sure sign of a great trip.”
