Kenny's Wish for a Car-Themed Shopping Spree
Four-year-old Kenny loves cars and shopping at Target. Battling a brain tumor, when it came time for his wish no one was surprised to hear he wanted to have a car-themed shopping spree at his favorite store.
Bright and early, Kenny was welcomed via limo by the incredible staff of the Target in Biddeford, standing outside cheering and holding signs. He entered the store to see a line-up of three battery-powered cars, all with his name on the license plates. Riding around the store in style, Kenny began his day’s adventure picking out all of his favorite toys and games.
Kenny also chose an unexpected item! Each visit to Target, he always takes a moment to sit in a rocking chair on display right outside of the toy section. It is a favorite part of his shopping trips! Kenny decided that amongst the toys and games, he also wanted to bring home his special rocking chair to enjoy while he reads his new books with his parents.
