Make-A-Wish® Maine recognizes donors through the following gift societies:
The Chris Greicius Society
The Chris Greicius Society allows us to recognize donors who make significant lifetime contributions. The Chris Greicius Society recognizes donors at four levels of cumulative giving:
- Hope Stout Society ($1 million and above)
- Society of Joy ($500,000 - $999,999)
- Society of Strength ($250,000 - $499,999)
- Society of Hope ($100,000 - $249,999)
Legacy of Wishes Society
The Legacy of Wishes Society was founded in 2008 to recognize donors who inform us of the inclusion of Make-A-Wish Maine in their personal estate plans. Such gifts could include, but are not limited to: a will, trust, life insurance, charitable gift annuity, or IRA. The society is designed to be inclusive and does not require donors to provide a copy of their estate plans.
