2022 Riverbend Gala - An Evening of Wishes

You can help us spark joy for the more than 350 children in Iowa waiting for their wish to be granted. Join us at The Tangled Wood on Saturday, May 21st at 5:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy food and drink stations themed to wishes, live and silent auctions, and a featured wish story. Individual tickets are $95 per person.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation traces its inspiration to Christopher James Greicius, an energetic 7-year-old boy battling leukemia who wished to be a police officer. In 1980, his Phoenix community came together to make his wish come true. 

Chris' mom, Linda Pauling, and five others were determined to spread the hope, strength and joy that Chris experienced and created the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Since then, our organization has transformed millions of lives. Linda grew up in the Quad Cities and will be attending the Riverbend Gala to help us celebrate 35 years of granting life-changing wishes in Iowa!
