Harrison's Wish to Have a New Play Room

Wish story sponsored by American Business Phones

Harrison needed a space he could safely play with or without his older brothers. He currently has a love of firetrucks and the Make-A-Wish team went above and beyond to make both of those things happen. As he walked through the room he stopped at every firetruck and said woah (there were a lot of woahs). His favorite part was either the pop up firetruck he could climb into and pop his head out of the top or the fireman jacket he refused to take off. The night of the redo all 3 boys and their dad did a camp out in the wonderful new space.

Harrison was born with NF1 and has made his own growth scale at the one percentile. On August 1st, 2021 he was diagnosed with an Optic Nerve Glioma (tumor) that severely damaged his vision. With chemo and covid going around it made it very difficult for us to find an accommodating place to play.

Now that we are towards the end of chemo and Harrison's energy has tripled this wonderful playroom has allowed not just Harrison to play in a safe space it has given the entire family a safe place to enjoy. There are no words to express how grateful we are to Make-A-Wish for making our room redo playroom happen.
