Gavin’s wish to go to Hawaii was granted in 2019 when he was 8 years old. He loves animals and the water, and was so excited to have a wish granted where he could do anything his heart desired. Naturally, he wished to go to Hawaii to experience the ocean and swim with dolphins!

Gavin and his family got to share many exciting experiences in Hawaii. From playing on the beach to exploring a submarine, attending a luau to meeting tropical birds, their trip was full of fun the moment they stepped off the plane. Gavin’s favorite part of the trip, however, was getting to swim with and kiss a dolphin. His mom will always cherish that memory - “At that moment when he got to kiss the dolphin, time stood still,” she says of the experience. 

Gavin’s wish gave him hope and his family wonderful memories to look back on. “He absolutely loved the experience, and we know that he will remember it forever,” his mom says. “Hawaii was magical, and there was no better place to make a wish come true!”
