Truett is 10 years old, lives in Kingsport, and is living with Infantile Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 (Werdnig-Hoffman). Truett was recently granted a wish to go to Gatlinburg. He chose this wish because he likes being outside and what better wish than to be in Smoky Mountains! During his wish trip, Truett and his family were able to stay in a cabin, visit WonderWorks, and explore Ripley’s aquarium. Truett enjoyed his Make-A-Wish experience because he was able to spend time with his family, see animals, and be outside – all the things he loves! 😊

Truett’s favorite color is red, and his favorite movie is Rio. He also enjoys watching his little brother play and looking at indoor lights. Truett and his family like to spend time together by having family movie nights.
