Natalie's Wish

SADDLE UP! Natalie is from Knoxville and just received a wish to go horseback riding on the beach. The 15-year-old is living with Acquired Total Absence of Pancreas (metabolic disorder) and she is handling it like a champ. Natalie chose to go horseback riding on the beach as her wish because she loves horses and has gone horseback riding on trails before but wanted to expand her limits and try it out on the beach. Some other activities Natalie was able to enjoy with her family were parasailing and a catamaran dolphin tour. The family enjoyed the ocean view from their beach house and loved every second of it!

When Natalie isn’t occupied with appointments and school she enjoys swimming, watching murder mystery shows, playing with her dog. She excels in reading and writing and loves to treat herself with chocolate chip ice cream. Natalie and her family like to spend their time together by riding bikes, playing board games, and going to the lake over the weekends. Her favorite book is the Twilight series, her favorite color is blue, and  her favorite sport is Olympic gymnastics.

Wish mom said, “She absolutely loved it!!!  Her favorite part was definitely horseback riding on the beach.  We even saw dolphins on the ride!  The entire week was amazing, and we had so much fun! Thank you so much for all your work it was exactly what our family needed.”
